29. They Explored the Moon (Off comic by Hergé)

They Explored the Moon was a one-off comic by Belgian Hergé, (the creator of The Adventures of Tintin). It was released in 1969 to commemorate the moon landings by Apollo 11. It was initially published in black and white in the Paris Match magazine, and was later released as a hardback book. English versions have since circled around the internet. On the front cover is an image of Tintin and his friends welcoming the Apollo 11 crew onto the moon, as a joke that Tintin reached the moon years before in the book Explorers on the Moon.
